• First, the incision is strategically placed low on the abdomen, discreetly concealed within the bikini line. 
• Next, the navel is freed from surrounding tissue through a second incision, and lower abdominal stretch marks can be addressed during the procedure.
• After that, the abdominal skin is separated from the abdominal wall up to the ribs, exposing the vertical (rectus abdominis) muscles. These muscles are tightened, creating a firmer abdominal wall and a narrowed waistline. 
• Finally, the excess skin is removed, and the navel is repositioned through a new incision in the abdominal skin. 
• Lastly, the surgeon carefully closes the incisions, applies any necessary dressings, and, if needed, inserts a temporary tube to drain excess fluid.

While abdominoplasty is typically performed under general anesthesia, some patients may benefit from an overnight stay at our facility for optimal post-operative monitoring and care.
