Flat, sagging or asymmetrical buttocks may be a problem that you’d like to correct-in fact, if you’re dealing with this particular body issue, you’d almost certainly like to fix it. However, until very recently, the options for fixing the problem really weren’t very impressive. Compared with the real thing, few options offer the right results consistently. No wonder so many have struggled to find a viable solution in the past.
If that was you up until now, Changes Plastic Surgery & Spa offers you the awe-inspiring solution you’ve been waiting for: our Brazilian Butt Lift surgery. This procedure is nothing less than revolutionary in terms of results—the happy patients and images you can see speak for themselves.
A shapely bottom is fundamentally important to attractive feminine body shape. The classic female hourglass that everyone wants relies upon that perfect butt. However, as iconic as the look is, it is just as elusive to many women. We find ourselves lacking when it comes to “junk in the trunk,” due to genetics, aging, and body fat shifting. How can we fix it?
Women have been trying to fix the problem with plastic surgery for a long time. After all, plastic surgery is very successful at augmenting and lifting other feminine assets like breasts, and at reducing signs of aging. Why not augment the rear end?
Although some surgeons offer silicone buttock implants, at Changes we avoid this imperfect option. The outcome with silicone buttock implants is unpredictable, and these implants can be uncomfortable and strange looking as they shift in position.
More importantly, we’ve got a much better solution. The Brazilian butt lift uses your existing natural asset—your body fat—to augment your rear end just the right way. The result is butt augmentation procedure that gives you the youthful, perky, prominent, but you’re hoping for. It also gives you a much more comfortable, natural-looking and feeling result that lasts, whether you shed or gain a few pounds here and there or not. In every position and from every angle, enjoy a more sensual body profile.
Butt augmentation remains a viable option for a number of candidates, including those who may deal with the following conditions:
Small (disproportionate) buttocks
Massive weight loss that has altered the buttock’s shape
At Changes Plastic Surgery & Spa, we want to ensure that you can make an informed decision regarding butt augmentation. Therefore, we encourage patients to meet with Dr. Lee or Dr. Rossi in advance to discuss their Brazilian butt lift goals. This consultation will help us determine whether you are an ideal candidate for a Brazilian butt lift as well as highlight the short- and long-term benefits of this procedure.
The most popular technique for butt augmentation at Changes is fat grafting.
Fat is harvested from selected areas of your body, usually the abdomen or thighs, through liposuction technique. The fat is then purified to isolate the good donor fat cells from other fluids, and then re-injected into your buttocks. The procedure is designed to fill the upper quadrant of your buttock so that the butt appears lifted and perky.
When it comes to preparing for a Brazilian butt lift, the medical staff at Changes Plastic Surgery & Spa will discuss all of your questions and concerns prior to your Brazilian butt lift procedures in a pre-operative appointment. Dr. Gilbert Lee and Dr. Rossi are two of the best in San Diego and recognize the concerns commonly associated with Brazilian butt lift procedures. As such, they will ensure that you understand the procedure and instruct you on the proper steps to take to increase the success of your butt augmentation surgery.
There are many ways to reduce the risk of complications during a Brazilian butt lift as well, including:
Don’t Take Aspirin – Much over-the-counter aspirin act as blood thinners, which may increase the chance of complications during a butt augmentation procedure. Therefore, you should avoid aspirin immediately before and after your surgery.
Stop Smoking – Nicotine can negatively impact your circulation and healing and should be avoided for at least two weeks before the procedure and one week after the surgery is completed.
Avoid Excessive Alcohol Consumption – Excess alcohol consumption in the days before or after your surgery could result in complications and should be avoided.
Stay Hydrated – Drinking plenty of water before and after your surgery may help minimize the risk of complications.
Typically, a Brazilian butt lift can take two to three hours to complete. The length may vary depending on the amount of fat to be removed, the areas to be treated and other factors.
In the first week after surgery, you should get plenty of bed rest and drink lots of fluids. Also, you should avoid sitting directly on your buttocks and driving for the first three weeks after the procedure.
You may be required to take time off of work as well. In many cases, patients will need at least two weeks off from work.
You will be given more specific guidelines for gradually resuming your normal activities. You will need to avoid strenuous activity for at least two weeks (walking and mild stretching are fine). To maintain your overall body shape longer, you will be encouraged to adopt a regimen of good diet and exercise.
