Plastic surgery is highly individualized – the same surgical strategy cannot be applied across the board for each patient in a cookie-cutter/assembly-line fashion. If it were, perhaps it would lend itself to group discounts and price cutting. Maybe even get a Groupon deal.
In plastic surgery, like in many fields, you get what you pay for. When researching plastic surgeons, don’t get stuck on price shopping. Take into account the surgeon’s professional history, board certifications, education, case results and his attention to individualized planning and execution. You may pay a little more but it is a very good deal when your results are priceless.
