Laser Treatment for Spider Veins

Spider veins are small thin veins that lay close to the skin. They primarily affect the legs and face and are most common in women after hormonal shifts associated with pregnancy and menopause. Spider veins are also very common in men, as well. The veins appear in linear, branch-like, or cartwheel patterns. Until recently, treatment options were few and ineffective but newly approved methods are more effective than the previously available sclerotherapy.
