Radiesse
What is Radiesse?
Radiesse represents a new generation of facial fillers. By combining a strong, immediate filling effect with long term collagen growth, Radiesse is one of the best values on the filler market. Radiesse does this by using calcium hydroxylapatite microspheres, which stimulate your body to grow your own collagen, to give you a smooth natural appearance that lasts on average 12 to 18 months. You can further enhance the effect of Radiesse by combining it with other treatments like Botox, Dysport or a laser treatment to take years off of your appearance. Radiesse is often an integral part of the Changes Liquid Facelift.
This procedure is performed by your triple board-certified plastic surgeon, Dr. Gilbert Lee, who has been voted by the San Diego Medical Society "Top Doctor" for the past 5 years running. Read more about Dr. Lee's qualifications on his CV.

How does Radiesse work?
As we age, we lose collagen and fat underneath our skin. This causes skin to thin and lose its tension, creating wrinkles and lines. The fat loss causes a “deflation” of our faces. Radiesse counteracts this by restoring volume underneath the skin in the form of the product itself and also the collagen that is re-grown. The overall effect is a tighter, fuller appearance that makes you look younger and more refreshed.
What areas does Radiesse treat?
Radiesse can be used to treat wrinkles, lines, and hollows that form all over the face. This includes the nasolabial folds (lines between your nose and corner of your mouth), cheeks, under the eyes, and around the mouth. A consultation is required to determine if Radiesse is the best treatment for you.
